Principle of location arrangement of Rosemount 3144 transmitter and pressure pipe:

1. Make the pressure pipe as short as possible.

2. Prevent deposition in the pressure pipe.

3. Bleed all gas from the liquid branch.

4. Ensure that the temperatures of the two pressure branch pipes are the same.

5. Keep the pressure heads of the two branches of the pressure pipe equal.

6. Avoid conditions that could cause process fluids to freeze within the process flange.

7. Use a large enough pressure pipe to avoid friction and blockage.

Selection principles:

The physical properties, chemical properties and operating conditions of the medium being measured should be considered.

1. Use 1Cr18Ni9Ti acid-resistant stainless steel pipes for non-corrosive or weakly corrosive media.

2. For strong corrosion, use urea grade stainless steel 316LN or other molybdenum-containing stainless steel pipes.

3. Use plastic pipes for strong corrosion.
